Issues with Management Companies & Apartments

There have been a lot of studies and reports issued recently with regards to Management Companies and it is important that you take time to view these documents and make submissions with regards to problems / issues that you have encountered. It is important that you know your rights & have your say.

National Consumer Agency | Check out their "Property Management Companies & You" booklet & learn about their campaign |Have your say & read stories from other consumers | You have probably heard their adverts on the radio around February 2007 and you should really check out their website. They want you to have your say on Property Management Companies. They ask that you email any problems you have encountered or suggestions / ideas to them and please feel free to copy me in also if I can be of any assistance.

The Law Reform Commission - The Law Reform Commission have also released (December 2006) a Consultation Paper on Multi-Unit Developments and were welcoming submissions up until 30th April 2007.

Canvassing & Apartments

Although I have a reputation for canvassing all year round, not just at election time, I must admit however that we do find it difficult to gain access to Apartment complexes and as a result we unfortunately don't get to hear your issues when we are out knocking on doors. Accordingly, I would urge you to make contact with me by phone or email if you have any issues. I would recommend that you read the above documents, email any issues / suggestions you have to the National Consumer Agency and Law Reform Commission, and please copy me in on these issues.
